Work Samples

The following documents are examples of my  script supervisor notes and logs throughout the film process. During or after each shoot day, the reports can be given to production through email or a flash drive, then emailed to the editor or any other crew members as needed. The samples provided are excerpts from a short film titled Liz, directed by Stephen Troy.  Click on the links to view the samples.

Color Coded Script: Once I receive the script, I break it down to identify what each scene contains.  I use this information to create the One Line and to catch any initial continuity issues before filming begins.

One Line: A complete chronological report is made with script breakdowns and pre-timings.

Lined Script: As filming takes place, I use a tablet computer to digitally line the script and color code it by the general type of shot.

Visual Edit Log: At the same time as the lined script is formed, a visual edit log is created using information about timing and screen direction.  Direct image capture allows the editor to have a visual reference of each shot.

Daily Progress Report : After each day is completed, a progress report is created to give production an overview of where the film is in relation to completion.

Additional samples available upon request.
