WHAT IS A DIGITAL SCRIPT SUPERVISOR?

A Digital Script Supervisor provides enhanced script supervisor services in a completely digital format. Using a tablet computer, I line and note the script by hand rather then using a keyboard and mouse. This allows me to be more mobile on set and use time tested script supervising techniques in an accurate, quick, and legible digital format.

ENHANCE AND EASE THE EDITING PROCESS

Editors receive each day’s notes immediately at wrap up, often before they get any footage.  Many commercial sets are editing the spot as it is being filmed.  Using a digital workflow, the editor can have up to the minute continuity notes along with the footage.  The Visual Editor’s Log contains stills for every setup of the day’s filmed scenes. This creates a virtual storyboard with detailed information about each shot. The notes are 100 % digital and can be sent over email or flash drive. This eliminates any delays between filming and post-production.
